Pudsey H team rooted to the bottom of division three in the Leeds League have finally got their first points of the season. Pudsey managed to get a 6-4 win over relegation threatened Leeds Judean E. Pudsey veteran Paul Dykes was the star performer winning all his three singles and combining with veteran Granville Thornton to take the all important doubles. The other two singles also coming from Thornton.

Pudsey Juniors Daniel Adams and Nicole Finn made the trip on Saturday to Derby with the Yorkshire Junior second team. Both players performed creditably including some vital fifth end wins to help the Yorkshire team to record three wins and a draw.
Sunday saw Pudsey Cadet Team’s in action in the third round of the National Cadet League at Bradford. Pudsey B team of Ellen Auty, Reece Bell and Jordan Gornall maintained their second position to Keighley Oak bank. They won three matches 6-0, and one 4-2. The only lost on the day was to Oakbank 5-1 with Auty managing the only success. Auty leading the boys on the day with nine wins out of her ten singles.

The A team of Nicole Finn, Jack Taylor and Edward Hollingsworth found the two Bradford teams two strong losing 9-1 and 7-3. Against Halifax they recorded a shock win 5-4 thanks to three wins for Finn and one each for Hollingsworth and Taylor. Once again it was the girls showing the boys how to play with Finn winning seven out of her nine singles.
