Cup Results

This week saw Pudsey teams contesting the second round of the cup. The Jacques Shield for the Division one and two teams being the top cup. Last years defending champions Pudsey A were drawn against the B team. With top of the league against third and a club derby all the ingredients for a shock result.

The A team of Simon Noutch, Joanna Roberts and Simon Pugh was in no mood for shocks and stormed to a 5-0 victory. The A team domination of the game meant that only Phil Cawser from the B team managed to extend a game into to the fifth set. In the same cup the C team found the going tough going down 5-3 to Leeds Judean. The D team progressed through to the next round thanks to three wins for Sarah Noutch and two for Paul Noutch in their 5-2 win over Horsforth. The E team received a 5-0 walk over against Methley who could not raise a side.
