With only a few matches to go in the Leeds League and the Easter break giving teams to catch up with re-arranged matches it is still all to play for at the top of division one.
Pudsey A and Dewsbury are both on 34 points and with four matches to go Pudsey lead only by a three set difference. It could be the first time in recent years that the Leeds League division one title has been decided on set difference. In the individual averages Richard Smith currently leads over fellow Pudsey Player Simon Noutch.
In division three the title battle between the E and F team goes on with Pudsey E leading by one point with two matches to play. Pudsey players from both teams dominate the individual averages with five players in the top ten.
Pudsey H lead division four from Horsforth by three points but Horsforth have a game in hand. This division will be decided on the last match of the season when these two teams clash.
Pudsey J in division six lead Leeds Judean I by three points with two matches to play.
With these two teams meeting this week a draw will be good enough to secure the title for the J team.
A below strength Pudsey team lost 5-1 to Dewsbury with Richard Smith gaining Pudsey’s solitary success in the Yorkshire clubs final at Dewsbury this week.
