Pudsey Runaway Leaders

The current league tables in Bradford show Pudsey’s A team twenty three points clear at the top of division two. The team won 10-0 over Hermits this week and with only four games to go the title is almost in the bag.
Division one in Leeds also has Pudsey A well clear and with another victory 6-4 over MPMG this week. Pudsey were made to fight for this victory with Stephen Denny winning three for MPMG. The doubles being the all important set to give Pudsey the victory.
Division two is still too tight to call and currently Pudsey C top the division by one point over Pudsey E. This week saw the E team gain a 9-1 win over Yorkshire Bank. Leeds Judean C would regain the top spot if they win their match in hand. The big game in this division this week is the battle between Judean C and Pudsey E Monday night.

Pudsey top cadet girls Nicole Finn and Ellen Auty were representing their school team Horsforth on Saturday at the National Regional team finals in Grantham. Both girls won all their matches but the school could only finish with two four all draws to finish second on the day.
