Pudsey Table Toppers

Pudsey’s table topping sides both strengthen their positions in the League this week. In Bradford the A team cruised to a ten nil victory over Thornbury. In the Leeds league the A team won 8-2 with Simon Noutch and Simon Pugh winning all three to keep up their positions as the leagues top individual performers.

Pudsey B also kept up their good position in Division One with a draw at Lawnswood YMCA. Short of a player due to injuries Pudsey brought in John Thaxter from the F team from Division Two. Thaxter responded impressively winning all his three games but only two games came from the B team regulars both from Chris Parker.

Division Two saw the derby match between the C and D team go the way of the C team 6-4. Here Sarah Noutch took all three for the D team but only Steve Smith could add one to her total. This now leaves the C team well in contention for promotion back to Division One.
